(upbeat acoustic guitar music) – Hi love! How’s it going? It’s Ann. Welcome to my channel. If you’re new, welcome welcome. Today I am going to share with you some of my current favorite recipes that I have been making for myself. I love to eat these for
lunch or for dinner. Sometimes I would combine them together with a little bit of
something else on the side. Really, it all comes down to
how creative you want to get. You don’t have to just eat them as is. You could have something else on the side or you could have all three on a plate. Something like that. You could have some for
snacks or for breakfast. These are just simple recipes that I like to have within my day. If you’re looking for
simple, tasty, yummy recipes you are going to love today’s video. So let’s go ahead and get started. For this first recipe I
want to share with you this delicious, yummy
citrus kale salad recipe. You will need one bunch of kale, wash it and cut it up. This next tip sounds pretty funny but since kale is pretty tough to eat, what you can do is massage the leaves so that way they can soften
up and absorb in the dressing. The dressing is super, super easy to make and that’s what I love about
it because it’s simple. It’s minimal. All you will need is about
two tablespoons of olive oil and then two tablespoons of rice vinegar. Next you could squeeze in
half a lime or half an orange. In my case, I really like my dressing to have a more citrus-y taste so therefore, I’m squeezing in half a
lime and half an orange. Next you want to add in a
dash of salt and pepper. Now you can stir your dressing up and mix it into your kale bowl. On the side I’m going to peel
and slice out some oranges. This is going to add a nice and delightful juicy sweetness to the salad. Make sure to let this sit and chill in the fridge for a couple
of hours before serving. I just sprinkled on some
quinoa and there you go. You have yourself a delicious
citrus-y kale salad. I love this simple recipe. It doesn’t take much time
to make and it’s refreshing. This is my favorite way
to cook sweet potatoes. I always get compliments on
how delicious this tastes and you will not believe
how easy it is to make. I’m going to start by
peeling two sweet potatoes and then I’m going to
cut them up into chunks. Now that I have all my sweet
potato chunks in the tray I’m now going to add in two
tablespoons of coconut oil. Sprinkle in some sea salt. Mix everything together. And then you want to bake this for about 400 degree Fahrenheit. After 30 minutes, mix everything together and then you want to bake it again until your potatoes are
nicely cooked just like this. Everyone I ever made
these sweet potatoes for really, really love this recipe. The coconut oil brings
out the buttery flavor and the salt brings out the
sweetness of the sweet potatoes. For a tasty, clean lunch I’m going to show you how to make some fried quinoa. All you will need are some
of your favorite vegetables or this is also a great time
to clean out your fridge. Heat up your pan at medium high and then add in a little bit of olive oil. I like to use some onions
until it’s nice and brown. Then I add in the other vegetables
followed by some quinoa. To season this, all I did was
sprinkle in a little sea salt. I like my flavor to taste nice and simple but if you want to add in other flavors, you can add in your favorite
sauces like soy sauce and get creative with it. For me I like to have this as a side dish with my sweet potatoes or my kale salad. Yummy. This is not your typical
peanut butter and jelly recipe. This is my special way
on how I like to make it. I look forward every
morning to having this and I also have this for a snack too. I would heat up my iron cast
pan with some coconut oil and then I would toast my bread on there and I make sure that my bread slices are nice and toasty on both sides so that way they have
this nice crunch to it. After the toast are nice and crispy, add on your almond
butter or peanut butter. In my case I am all about
peanut butter right now. I love almond butter too but peanut butter, crunchy peanut butter. Come on now. Oh my gosh. We’re gonna spread this on and then we’re gonna spread on some jelly. Add on a nice, generous amount. Don’t be cheap about this. This is definitely not your typical peanut butter and jelly toast because this is Ann’s style. Once you eat this, you’ll know what I’m talking about because the bread is nice
and crunchy and crispy from the coconut oil and you know how peanut butter is already
or any kind of butter. It’s just nice and smooth. And then the tartness,
sweetness from the jelly is just oh my god a
combination of goodness. This last one is more so of
a tip than a actual recipe. It’s just a delicious, simple, minimal way on how to prepare your snack. This is perfect for
parties or get togethers. I always do this to entertain my friends. I would just cut up celery
slices and little carrots. And then in the center I would
put in some peanut butter. This is what I currently really love right now, this banana peanut butter. It’s delicious! Lastly, I like to add in some
dried fruits like raisins. This is such a simple, minimal idea but it’s so satisfying and it’s fun to eat. Thank you all so much for watching. Make sure to comment below.
