Bengal famous film actress Late Supriya Devi’s recipe – Spicy Katla fish with mustard / Katla Ma6er Jhaal 6 pieces of Katla fish (golden fried with salt & turmeric powder) 1 medium potato pieces (golden fried) 2 tbsp mustard paste ½ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp kashmiri red chili powder ½ tsp sugar 1 tsp salt 6 sleeted green chilies Heat 3 tbsp mustard oil Now make a spice mixture with little hot water, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chili powder, salt, sugar, 4 sleeted green chilies) add this spice mixture Saute till it changes colour If a nice aroma comes out and oil spills out; add amount of hot water. Flame to high After started boiling, add fried potato pieces Cover it on medium flame. If potato pieces are parboiled; add mustard paste (strained out with a strainer, and add only extract) Add fried fish pieces Cover for a while on a medium flame Add 1 tsp raw mustard oil off the flame.
