Good Morning friends I, RaviSisodiya, welcome you all to my channel Holiday Cooking Today I am making a special dish which is chicken Irani The word Irani comes from Iran, earlier called Persia After 1934 AD, Persia was renamed as Iran So, this dish is called Chicken Irani The speciality of this dish is more use of almonds Saffron and nuts Also, the use of cream is in large quantity I have done a small innovation i.e lime juice is added so let’s start making Chicken Irani the ingredients of which are as follows first we start with taking 125 gm clarified butter or ghee Salt to taste Red Chilli Powder – 2 tbsp Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp White Cream – 100 gm Almonds – 15 to 20 that are soaked in water and peel removed from them Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp Curd – 100 gm Lime Juice – 2 tbsp a pinch of saffron diluted in water saffron brings amazing flavour and odour to the dish Onions – chopped – 1 whole and sliced – 1 total of 2 onions are used Chicken – 750 gm now we start making Chicken Irani Come we will now start making Chicken Irani To start we will heat the pan and add ghee to it we will let the ghee heat for sometime The ghee or clarified butter is now hot Now we add Onions to it and fry them till they become golden brown Onions are now golden brown rings and cut onions are now golden brown now we add fresh chicken The quantity of this chicken is 750 gms and all the ingredients are according to it mix it well the chicken is now mixed well now rest of the ingredients will be added one by one first salt then Red Chilli Powder Coriander Powder Curd, Ginger Garlic Paste Ginger Garlic Paste is a very important ingredient in any chicken dish without Ginger Garlic Paste non-veg cannot be made Peeled off almonds will be added now Cream to be added this is a very easy recipe you can make this dish anytime add lime juice to give bitter taste to dish and now we add saffron this saffron will give a unique colour to the chicken Also I am adding Kewda Water to this dish Kewda is of two types: Kewda Water and Kewda Essence If you use Kewda essence use only one drop this is Kewda water so I have added 1 tbsp Put the flame on medium and mix it well Chicken Irani is a fabulous dish very easy to make not much hard work is required Masalas are not required to be fried again and again the masalas are now mixed well later, reduce the flame as you can see I have not added a single drop of water close the lid till the chicken becomes tender Almost 50-55 mins have passed and the chicken is now ready Now I request you to garnish this dish well I request you all that this is a very unique dish it’s a must try dish and enjoy the taste of this dish and if you like this dish please like, share and subscribe Thank You!!
